Information Engineering Computer Science Seminar and Web Design Workshop

Chang Jung Christian University and Methodist Pilley Institute jointly organized “Mathematics and Information Engineering” and “Mathematics and Computer Science” online seminars, and “Web Design” online workshops. The seminars and workshop are conducted for UEC Senior middle three students of independent Chinese secondary school, and to educate the importance of mathematics based on the senior middle level mathematics. In particular, the seminars on “Mathematics and Information Engineering” and “Mathematics and Computer Science” help students understand the application and importance of mathematics in the fields of information engineering and computer science, to encourage students to learn mathematics and introduce the role of information engineering in many aspects of our life.

鏈結國際合作長榮大學與馬來西亞畢理學院視訊會議

長榮大學於2013年與馬來西亞衛理畢理學院Methodist Pilley Institute（以下簡稱畢理學院）締結為姊妹校後，雙方保持密切合作關係，即使爆發新冠肺炎疫情也未中斷交流。4月20日雙方透過視訊會議，討論未來合作計畫，包括與入學服務處合作的競賽活動、與蘭花產業應用學士學位學程之短期交流、與CJCU International BBA Program in International Business合作討論等。

2021 UEC Business Studies Quiz Competition and Seminar

National University of Tainan and Methodist Pilley Institute jointly organize the 2021 UEC Business Studies Quiz Competition and Seminar. The purpose of this activity is to instill an interest in business studies among students and help senior middle three students achieve better results in the subject of Unified Examination Chinese (UEC). At the same time, it teaches the students to apply their knowledge derived from their studies to develop a business plan and encourage them to further studies and pursue a career in business-related field.

MPI Excels Again in ACCA March 2021 Exam

Once again, we did it!

Hats off and warmest congratulations to our 6 ACCA affiliates. We are very proud of the stellar achievement of our ACCA students in March examination session. 9 out of 11 subjects sat by our students in March 2021 achieved pass rate surpassing ACCA global pass rate. On top of that we are excited to have 6 subjects with pass rate of over 70% especially Advanced Audit & Assurance -100%, Strategic Business Reporting – 75%, and Strategic Business Leader – 75%.

UEC Mathematics Quiz Competition and Information Engineering Seminar

Chang Jung Christian University Taiwan and Methodist Pilley Institute jointly organizes the 2021 UEC Mathematics Quiz Competition and Information Engineering Seminar. The purpose of these events is to instill a love and interest of learning Mathematics in the students of independent Chinese secondary schools and to help them get better results in UEC Mathematics examinations. The online platform for the events is zoom meeting and YouTube.

Lecturers’ support – a determining factor to students success in professional programs

Methodist Pilley Institute started ACCA program (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) since 2006. Last year, due to outbreak of Covid 19 disease, physical courses were changed to online courses. Life, especially pandemic life, is full of threats and uncertainty. When we feel afraid, bringing more love into our lives can help. Such change does not affect the professionalism and the commitment of MPI lecturers. MPI lecturers supported the students to continue to learn and overcome the hurdles of sitting for the ACCA remote exam.
