MPI Present Scrolls to Graduands

A total of 64 graduands from Methodist Pilley Institute (MPI) here received their scrolls at Wei Kuok Hall, MPI yesterday.

Eleven graduated with first class honours in BA (Hons) Accounting and one with BA(Hons) Marketing.

In his speech as guest of honour, MPI chairman Paul Wong urged graduands to continue working hard, be persistent and determined to realise their dreams and life goals even in the face of challenges.

He added that MPI helps develop strong values and characters among students besides academic success.

MPI principal Hii King Kai hoped that the values instilled would help students become better people who contribute to a better world.

“As you climb the corporate ladders and add more zeros to your bank accounts, I hope you will continue your quest to become better persons and always seek opportunities to impact the world,” added Hii.

Also present were senator Robert Lau, MPI honorary chairman Hii Ching Chiong and MPI chaplain Reverend Debbie Yet.
