Pearson International (PEI) A Level is a globally recognized qualification opening doors to universities worldwide. Developed in consultation with the international school community, including a large of teachers and university lecturers, PEI A Level is on of the world’s most popular, globally recognized pre-university curriculum pathway for secondary school-leavers. Recognized by universities worldwide as the pre-requisite entry requirement, PEI A level is designed to be engaging for international students, to give them the necessary skills to support progression to higher and further study.
Grace Sia Enn Chie who has chosen A level at MPI because she wants to further her studies overseas. A-Level helps her apply for top universities since it is internationally recognised. She has chosen to stay in Sibu, her hometown, for my A-Level programme at MPI. This has helped her save living costs and transportation costs. Not only that, the fees in MPI are cheaper when comparing to other institutions. MPI also offers many scholarships for high academic achievers and Grace has gotten the full scholarship in MPI with her SPM results. Grace has planned to do a study of a double major degree abroad. Her ambition is to become a chartered accountant.
Grace has attributed the success of her study of PEI A level to the lecturers at MPI, “MPI has very experienced lecturers, and they did a really great job in guiding me and supporting me to take the exams. Apart from giving enough exercises, assignments and conducting internal exams, they often use daily examples to help us understand about the economics and accounting concepts.” Another factor contributing her achievement is the learning environment at MPI. MPI has one of the best libraries in Sibu and the facilities were great. Library offers past-year papers for each A-Level subject, which is of great help to prepare for the exams. The quiet environment in the library was very suitable for focus learning.
