MPI Opens Intake for Sejong Korean language course
Methodist Pilley Institute (MPI) is offering Sejong Korean language course for college and secondary school students as well as working adults.
According to its press release, the course to enrich experience by learning another language is taught by South Korean lecturer John Cho who is currently residing here. Cho has taught Korean language in China, the United States and Malaysia.
“Korean is the 12th most spoken language in the world. Students will learn Korean written communication language and vocabulary for daily greetings Korean culture and customs, it stated.
Based on Sejong Korean language, the course offering two levels is especially suitable for learners of elementary Korean.

畢理開辦韓語課程
(本报诗巫13日讯)卫理毕理学院为学院生及中学生开办韩语课程,将开设第一级与第二级。该课程旨在让学生和社会大众通过学习另一种语言来丰富学习经验,课程将由来自韩国的讲师约翰曺(John Cho)任教,他曾在中国、美国和马来西亚教授韩语,目前居住在诗巫。
韩语是世界上第12个使用人数最多的语言,学员将学习韩语书面沟通的语言和日常问候语、韩国文化和风土人情。
该课程将以世宗韩语(Sejong Korean language)做教学基础,特别适合初级韩语水平的学习者,共分2个等级。
第一级(也是初级,适用于初学者)的开课日是2022年1月5日、5月11日及7月18日,每个课程为期从7至14周,上课时间是星期一及星期三晚上7时30分至9时30分,学费为450令吉。
第二级(中级,适用于已有韩语基础者)的开课日是2022年1月4日、5月10日及7月19日,每个课程为期从7至14周,上课时间是星期二及星期四晚上7时30分至9时30分,学费为450令吉。
