SIBU: Nine students of Methodist Pilley Institute (MPI) received awards for their excellent performance in academics.
Out of that, two were awarded the Entrance Scholarship Award for their excellent achievements in the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) 2025.
The recipients were Law Sing Yee (Diploma in Accounting) and Jasmine Wong Sin Min (Diploma in Early Childhood Education).
Meanwhile, seven were awarded the Principal’s Award for their excellent academic performance in the previous semester.
They were Michelle Ling Pei Ni (Diploma in Accounting), Natalie Ling Ning Xue (Diploma in Early Childhood Education), Connie Sia Yi Ling (Diploma in Business Management), Wenjelin Bugis (Diploma in Social Work), Marcius Anak Pasar (Diploma in Social Work), Siaw Dun Lian (Diploma in Accounting) and Patrick Wong (Diploma in Computer Science).
The Principal’s Award is awarded to students who obtained a minimum CGPA of 3.67, while entrance scholarships are for those who obtained at least 5As in their SPM.
