SIBU: Aaron Tan Wee Wee, after graduating with SPM qualifications from SMK Tung Hua in 2020, continued to pursue a Diploma in Business Management. The primary reason is his aspiration to be an entrepreneur. Studying business management can help him develop skills such as leadership, communication, and problem-solving—the skills and knowledge needed to start and manage the whole business, including people. Aaron attributed his success to self-motivation. In his opinion, without a strong desire to learn and succeed, it can be difficult to stay focused and dedicated to one’s studies. Apart from that, good time management is essential for effective study, which includes setting aside specific time for studying, prioritising tasks, and avoiding distractions. He will make a schedule for his daily routine so that there will be a balance between study and leisure.
Aaron opined that it is important to believe in oneself: “I believe that I can score well in my exam, because with hard work, it will eventually bring good results in my exam. It is this power of belief in myself and my effort that has made a difference in my life.“
