SIBU: A total of 14 students have begun their journey to become qualified nurses after accepting offers to join the August intake this year.
Methodist Pilley Institute (MPI) warmly welcomed its second cohort during an orientation held on Aug 17, 2026.
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and principal of MPI, Dr Lu Huong Ying, said while MPI is determined to produce quality nurses, she urged the students to remain committed throughout their studies at MPI.
She also urged them to become good nurses who serve with compassionate hearts and to always work together and support one another in their journey towards success.
She thanked the students for answering the call to help address the shortage of nurses in the nation.
