MPI Holds Taxation Revision Sessions For SPM Students
SIBU: Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) students from SMK Methodist and SMK Chung Hua here recently attended two revision sessions on taxation organised by the Accounting department of Methodist Pilley Institute (MPI).
The event was part of the department’s Academic Community engagement in helping SPM students to have deeper better understanding on Taxation under the topic of Consumer Mathematics.
Conducted by experienced lecturers, MPI had also organised two other revision sessions on taxation last December 2021.
MPI is one of the very few colleges in Malaysia and in fact, the only one in East Malaysia that offers two years Diploma in Taxation.
Students graduating with Diploma in Taxation at MPI are able to sit for Malaysian Chartered Tax Institute of Malaysia (CTIM) professional examinations.
They can also enrol for ACCA Foundation in Accountancy (ACCA FIA) Qualification (total seven papers) and ACCA Diploma in Accounting and Business.

参与毕理学习体验 参与者对税收更了解
（诗巫）卫理公会毕理学院会计系主办2次学习体验，让大马教育文凭考试学生，在消费者数学的主题下，对税收有更深入与更好的了解。
作为该学院学术社区参与的一部分，该学院会计系於去年12月及本月，分别邀请卫理中学与中华中学的大马教育文凭考试学生前来参与。
这2项活动皆由该学院经验丰富的讲师主持，向中五学生介绍税收的基础知识和BE表格的归档。
来自中华中学的陈同学表示，“学习体验非常有启发性，同时也很有趣，因为这是我们在课堂外学习的内容，教科书不会像我们在这里学习的那样冗长。” 对此，该学院祝愿这些参与者，在即将到来的大马教育文凭考试中，一切顺利！
毕理学院是马来西亚为数不多的提供 2 年税务文凭的学院之一，实际上是东马唯一的一所。毕业于毕理学院税务文凭的学生，可以参加马来西亚特许税务学院（CTIM）的专业考试，以及自信地报名参加ACCA FIA资格考试（共7篇论文）与ACCA会计及商业文凭。
