SIBU: Methodist Pilley Institute (MPI) students recently participated in the “Uncover the Leader Within” leadership workshop, held on 17 October 2026 in collaboration with Toastmasters International District 87, Division S, and JCI Youth MPI.
The two-hour workshop introduced students to practical leadership skills through interactive activities and teamwork. Participants explored the importance of self-confidence, effective communication, decision-making, problem-solving and servant leadership.
Through sessions on leading without a title and personal growth, students gained a deeper understanding that true leadership is not defined by position or authority, but by serving others, building positive influence and developing strong character.
MPI continues to support students in developing essential leadership skills and confidence to prepare them for future academic and professional challenges.
