| SIBU:Twenty students of Methodist Pilley Institute (MPI) were awarded for their excellent performance and achievements on Aug 15, 2025.
Lau Zhi Yang, Wilson Voon Ese De and Mohd Iskandar Murad won third place in the MPI 35th Anniversary 2D and 3D logo design. Gawin Chieng Sing Fong, Victor Wong Jhin Shue, Andy Wong Soon Kiet and Adam Wong Kiung Hong were placed second, while the first-place winners were Desmond Hu Kae En, Lydia Ngu Zhi Ching, Kiew Li Yi and Hii Wan Tuong. For the Entrance Scholarship award, the recipients were Lau Ee Ping (Diploma in Accounting), Karlefedth Ling Kai Lok (Diploma in Business Management), Adeline Luk Hui Zhen (Diploma in Computer Science), Jack Yong Hao Jie (Diploma in Social Work) and Chong Ming Xuang (Diploma in Computer Science). Four students from the Diploma in Accounting were awarded the Principal’s Award for their excellent achievements in their studies. The students were Hannah Ghiam Xin Yi, Lau Sin Ping, Siaw Dun Lian and Michelle Ling Pei Ni. Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and principal of MPI Dr Lu Huong Ying presented the awards to the students. Also present were Director of Academic Affairs Alexander Druce, Director of NEXTHub Hyacintha Wong, Student Affairs Executive Susie Yeo and some of the MPI lecturers. |
