The programme introduces the student to nursing as a professional discipline. It provides the students with skills and strong theoretical knowledge to ensure their competency and professionalism as future nurses. The 3-year programme will expose students with the foundational knowledge such as basic nursing skills and progresses into specialised areas such as medical-surgical nursing, Orthopaedic, Paediatric, Obstetric & Gynaecology, Emergency Nursing, Intensive Care and so forth. MPI’s Diploma in Nursing is globally recognised and the programme strictly follows the guidelines accredited by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) and the Malaysian Nursing Board (MNB). The core curriculum for Diploma in Nursing is regulated by MNB and adheres to the standards and criteria set by the MQA.
