Department of Early Childhood Education

During children’s formative years, their brains are like sponges, absorbing new information and experiences through all five senses. At this age, children are exposed to a language-rich environment, which helps them learn to communicate. Thus, Early Childhood Education (ECE) is essential in providing a strong foundation for later academic, social, and emotional growth.

The courses offered in this Department:

The courses focus on the holistic development of Early Childhood Educators through their mission and vision, curriculum and assessment design, service learning, character education, diversity and inclusion, mentorship and spiritual guidance, community engagement, and continuous professional development.

Under this department, all students from both programmes will be exposed to extensive training by experts in the field from around the world. The ECE Department at MPI is the only department in a private higher learning institution to offer field experience every semester, ensuring that students gain hands-on experience working with children as part of their professional development.
