Professor Shang Yi shared about the real-world use of AI at the University of Missouri and showcased how educators and researchers use generative AI tools like ChatGPT as part of the
learning process. Some 200 members of the public and students attended the seminar. Each participant received a certificate after the seminar.

In this seminar, what Professor Shang Yi wanted is for everyone to understand that Artificial
Intelligence (AI) is here to stay.

“People say AI will not replace your job—but your job will be replaced by another person who knows how to use AI,” Professor Shang Yi said.
