Introducing ACCA and CAT Programs

	For many years, the Diploma in Accounting at Methodist Pilley Institute has incorporated ACCA syllabus into the course program, allowing students to sit for the ACCA Professional examinations while studying at the Institute. Many of MPI students could achieve excellent results at either CAT or even ACCA levels, receiving either gold or silver medals at national and even international levels.

To meet the growing demand for qualified accountants, the Institute officially applied to ACCA, UK, and the Ministry of Education Malaysia to conduct full time CAT and ACCA courses at the Institute. For its excellent track record in providing quality education over the years, ACCA and MOE have given official approval for the Institute to start the programs in January 2006. To start off the program, Methodist Pilley Institute will run the full Certified Accounting Tehnician (CAT) programs plus the Part 1 and the first three papers of Part 2 of ACCA Program in January 2006.
